Beamline: L (HYMO)
Beamline L is dedicated to micro X-ray fluorescence analysis at energies either between 5 and 80 keV or in the polychromatic mode. Spot sizes in the mm to micrometer range allow high spatial resolution studies of heterogeneous samples. The sample environment is flexible and allows the installation of special sample environments like in-situ cells or a vacuum total reflection XRF chamber. The experimental station is equipped with several detectors allowing besides micro-fluorescence analysis and micro fluorescence absorption spectroscopy, X-ray tomography and micro-diffraction.

- TXRF
These techniques gain from the different excitation conditions available at the beamline, the focussing optics and the large number of detectors in combination with a flexible sample environment.
