HASYLAB has an extended vacuum system with 43 beamlines which supply experiments with synchrotron radiation. All vacuum components of these beamlines are controlled by a local interlock system. This microprocessor based system was developed 20 years ago and is still very successful in operation.
To implement the recording of input and output data a SEDAC based diagnostic system was installed. The system supplies this Web page with data of the vacuum displays of the beamlines. |
Clicking on "Display Navigator" opens a dialog to select machines and beamlines. Selecting a beamline from the popup menus will open a window displaying the status of the vacuum components. Clicking a facility button shows an overview of the corresponing beamshutters and the current status of the V0-valves.

The states of the different beamline elements are visualized by LEDs using different colors.
