  • HASYLAB Vacuum Guidelines for Beamlines and Experiments

    An efficient and failure free operation of beamlines at a storage ring or free electron laser is strongly related to vacuum conditions in the ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) regime. The purpose of this document is to establish rules which describe how to design and how to work with UHV components connected to the HASYLAB beamlines. This document will help users and companies who are not familiar with UHV techniques. But even experienced users, who start to build new beamlines and experiments, will find all important things related to vacuum components they have to keep in mind.
