6. Review of Proposals
After having received your project application HASYLAB will clarify in advance any problems concerning the feasibility or safety aspects of the proposed experiments by internal discussions.
Different Research Project Review Panels (PRPs) reviews proposals for new research projects concerning their quality, their fundamental feasibility at HASYLAB, the suitability for the apparatus and their position in the general program.
The Project Review Panels will rate each research proposal on a 1-6 scale:
- 1 accepted, highest priority
- ...
- 5 accepted, lowest priority
- 6 rejected
which is a measure for beamtime allocation priority. Please note that it may be difficult to get beamtime for projects with low priority.
