Flight over the DESY site, with the focus on the 260-meter-long FLASH facility. The flight starts above the HASYLAB buildings in the north-east of the DESY site, shows the FLASH experimental hall, the earth-covered tunnel and the 100-meter-long hall with the first segment of the FLASH facility.

View on the laser line in the FLASH tunnel during shutdown. In the second section of the FLASH facility the electrons pass the 30-meter-long undulator, a magnet structure in which the laser-like shortwave radiation is generated according to a principle relying on self-amplification (SASE).
